Principal

Stephen is a Building Biologist. Building Biology connects the built environment with the occupants who live and work within these spaces. Building Biology understands how the built environment can impact both occupant and environmental health of the planet.

Stephen is a Building Science Specialist. A building science expert understands how buildings work, and how they fail. By combining these two areas of focus, we can create healthier, more sustainable, and resilient buildings for you.

Have been in business since 2005

Have carried out over 3,000 inspections and consultations

Have worked with clients across Canada and the United States

Personal Experience

Stephen’s depth and breadth of experience has allowed him to work with governments, housing providers, property managers, insurance companies, faith communities, commercial and residential clients across Canada and the United States.

Whether working on a 200 year old building or standing on the job site of a new build, experience matters. Knowledge of natural buildings, heritage, sustainable and best practices in building science help create places you want to be inside of and cherish for decades to come.
